So...I went to see Kanye West at the Docks on Friday nite with Adam..We had SUCH an amazing time. We managed to squeeze through hundreds of people to a spot EXTREMELY close to the front of the stage (so that I could see without being on my tippy toes!) and kept "OUR SPOT" for the entire concert!! I was very impressed with Kanye's performance- he really is an incredibly talented lyricist. I love his rhymes, his flow, his energy....the crowd was SOOOOOOOOOO into his performance. All you could hear was Adam and I rhyming along with all his tracks!! The funny thing was that you could tell which fans came to see Kanye for "Through the Wire" and "Slow Jams" and which fans had ACTUALLY listened to his entire album!! The crowd went wild over those two tracks...it was insane. Personally, those are my 2 LEAST favourite tracks on the College Drop Out. Anywayz, during his performance, he threw in a couple of jams from the bootleg album that Adam got for me at the beginning of January...I didn't see ONE person in the crowd that was familiar with those beats or lyrics. He dropped, "the good, the bad, the ugly" and a couple of others. I had SUCH a good time!!
Then....Adam and I headed back to my place around 1 o'clock and we were STARVING!! He made me cheesey scrambled eggs and toast! Isn't that sweet?
On Saturday...my sister and I went clothes shopping...somehow we ended up at the Promenade and it was CRAZY BUSY!! I remeber when that mall use to be dead on a Saturday..it's because of the the new H&M and the T&T supermarket!!
Saturday nite I chilled at Stu's house with Andrea and Nella and had some wine before we headed to the HOST for dinner (it's this Indian Cuisine at highway 7 and leslie). The dinner was AMAZING and it was really nice to chill with some old friends from high school :) After that, I headed to Sarah and Candi's for Candice's 20th birthday party...I'm not even going to go into the MAD DRAMA that went on that nite!! All I have to say is- I could never live in a hosue full of girls like that...too much bitchiness and fighting!!

Soooo, on Monday night I FINALLY met Adam's family!! I went for dinner at his grandmother's with his mom and her boyfriend. On my way to his Grandma's condo I was SOOOOOOOOOOO nervous!! I mean, cuz first impressions mean EVERYTHING, right? Plus, my sister was like, "you know that people formulate an opinion of you within 7 minutes of meeting you"? I was like- damn!! Does my hair look okay? Should I wear this sweater with these pants or this shirt with these pants?? Is my perfume too strong? etc, etc, etc... Anywayz...it end up going AMAZING!! His mom's boyfriend was like, "It's so good to finally meet you, we've all heard so much about you.." Figures, my face went BRIGHT red..hahahaha...but that's just me :) They couldn't have been more friendly, hospitable, etc. I got along with them SOOOOOOO well, and that's really important to me, ya know? Anywayz...now the ice is broken...YES!!

So, on Saturday nite I ended up at Club 905 (I know it's sounds ghetto) with Adam and Kim. It's this bar/pool hall at yonge and elgin mills- hip hop/reggae and $10 pitchers- not bad, eh? It was actually a pretty chilled out nite...drank some beer, played some pool...good times. On Sunday Adam and I went out for breakfast and then we tried to spend some time outside because it was an ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL day...My mom did up a gourmet steak dinner that nite and it was me, Adam, Jess, Dan and my parents..It was crazy- I thought that it was going to be weird, but, surprisingly, we all got along SOOOOOOOO well. We even watched a movie 2gether!! Now, hopefully Jess & I can chill a little more, ya know??
Anywayz...I wish everyone luck with papers/assignments, etc, etc....
Just to let you guyz know- Newsha's throwing a jam on March the 12th at Club 905!! I have a bunch of flyers if anyone's interested. Come out and support his party- it's ALL YOU CAN DRINK!!

okay, okay...i kinda wanna go back on what i said about Kanye's album...Well, it turns out that Adam got me the 'bootleg' copy of his album about a month or two ago- I didn't realize that it was COMPLETELY different from his actual album!! Well, some of the tracks are the same, like "family business", "through the wire", etc, but the majority of the songs are different and I'm NOT feeling the sounds as much on the new album. The bootleg was more 'rugged', 'real sounding'- not so airbrushed and edited up- ya know?? I still appreciate "The College Drop Out", but- what I though was his actual album, College Drop Out 2003(the bootleg copy)is MUCH more respected in my books.
I'm waiting for SOOOOOO many sick albums that are gonna be released in 2004....here's a few:
1) my man...EM...will be releasing his forth album later this year
2) DRE..will also be releasing his forth disc near the end of 2004
3) 50's got a new record in the making for '04
4)Rakim...6th record with beats from DRE, Timbaland, etc.
5) Ghostface...for all you WU fans..

So, Kanye West was on Regis and Kelly AND 106th and Park last week...his album was released in record stores across North America today...too bad I had his album OVER A MONTH AGO...hahahaha..suckas...connects...whatever.. "College Dropout 2003" is an AMAZING album. If you don't already know this- Kanye's with Rocafella Records and, in my opinion, he'll be the next Jay Z, The Rock, Hova, or whatever you wanna call him. His beats are sick, his rhymes are CRAZY- he is an EXTREMELY talented lyricist. Props to Kanye...Check out his album...I highly recommend it...

So, I went to Blue Mountain on Friday with Candi, Chantal,etc, etc...it was hype. We were on the hills from like 1pm 'til like almost 10pm...(with a few breaks in between ofcourse- I need to eat something at least every couple of hours..hehe). The weather was PPERRRRRFECT....until 8:00pm or so, when it started to rain. I even tried boarding for the first time and LOVED IT!! Ofcourse I was on my ass for the first couple of runs, but after that I was hitting the half pipes- YYYYEEEAAAH RIGHT!! No, no, but seriously...I think I did alrite, considering it was my first time. Skiing, well, that's another story...It's SOOOOO natural to me cuz I've been skiing since I was a kid, ya know...hitting up the black diamonds and shit. I need to do it up again sometime REALLLL soon...Adam says he'll help me out...wish me luck!!
Also....going to see DJ PREMIER on the 21st of February.....It's gonna be HHHHHHYPE...

Hi all,
yeah, yeah, I know it's been like, a month or so since I've updated- BUT shit's been crazy...no, that's pure bull...I've just been LAZY. Leah keeps bugging me to hit the gym with her...haven't been to that place in AWHILE!! But- I'm not completely lazy cuz I've been doing the exercise ball video...it's pretty good, ya know...I can work abs,arms,legs, shoulders,etc, etc, in like, 20 minutes. I highly recommend this workout for lazy people. I don't feel so bad though cuz Lauren hasn't been to the gym in 'nuff long too...her last excuse for NOT going to the gym with Leah was "I don't have anything to wear!" Hahahaha...that's Classic!! I always use the "I just styled my hair" excuse.
Phil's bday on Saturday was hype...good times, good times for real. Can't believe he's 22...wow, time flies!!

IT'S ALREADY CHRISTMAS EVE!!!! The next three days are going to be CRAZY busy!!! I'm going to my grandfather's tonite for christmas eve and church 'n stuff...tomorrow I'm going to my grandmother's house during the day and then we're having a bunch of family for dinner tomorrow nite....boxing day- we're gonna be at the mall by 8:00am and then we've got a party at my aunt's house in the afternoon/evening....Finally- Saturday morning (at the crack of dawn) we head to the airport!!
The last couple of dayz were GREAT!! Friday nite I met up with Adam and we chilled with Heather, Philly, Sam, Candise and Chantal...(it was great to see some of my friends before the craziness of Christmas time set in). Saturday I chilled with Adam and Newsha at this hip hop jam (which actually sucked- but the company made up for it!!).
Monday- Adam and I chilled for the nite at his place- I had such an amazing time....he made me 4 CD's for christmas- plus-he bought me a mini-digital camera... Last nite was the Cafe Christmas party...good times, good times...A bunch of us went back to Jay's after Jackastor's to chill- I had a really good time!! It was really cool to catch up with ppl like Mel, Kate, Ashley....They're all such sweeties....plus- Jay gave me a christmas card from the cafe....how cute is that?? I think that Kate wrote the card because at the bottom it said P.S. Did that guy ever call you???

So, Friday I dropped by Avi's house with my sister for his birthday for like an hour before I met up with Heather....he had a party at his house for his 19th...he's SUCH A CUTIE!! So, anywayz...I met up with Heather for drinks at Just Desserts and later on Matt, Aidan, Brett and Jay met us. It was great...I really got to catch up with Heather one-on-one before the guys showed up. Heather & I really gotta chill more...she's such a sweetheart.
Then, on Saturday morning I went to work for 10:30am and realized that I wasn't suppose to start until 12:00pm!!! I was SSSSSSOOOOOOOOOO pissed..I could have slept in- I'm totally NOT a morning person!! Anywayz..my manager let me start when I got there, not that it made a difference...it was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO DEAD!! I got cut at 2pm and I made a WHOPPING $15.00....It was SUCH a waste of TIME!! That's probably the LAST time I'm gonna work during the day, at least before Christmas (ppl are flooding the malls at this time of year).
I had a REALLY good time on Saturday nite. My friend Andrea came to pick me up with her friend Elaine and 1st we went to "FACES" (this new bar in Richmond Hill right beside London Pub). It was actually REALLY nice inside (a lounge/bar), but there was a live band, who were ridiculously LOUD, so we relocated to next door- yes, London Pub. We didn't know where else to go, it was getting late and we had already had drinks 'n stuff. Anywayz...then Adam met up with us, with his friend Brendan...It's crazy!! I use to chill with Brendan 'back in the day'(highschool) and he actually dated one of my best friends from St. E's. Isn't it a small world??
Andrea and Elaine left around 1:30 cuz Andrea had to work in the morning, so Adam, Brendan and I chilled at the bar for a bit longer and then we went back to Adam's house to smoke a joint...actually, Brendan smoked most of the joint cuz I was WAY TOO HAMMERED to even think about weed....It was really cool though cuz my friends really hit it off with Adam and Brendan. Things seem to be going VERY WELL... I'd almost call it official...

So...first off, I went to Hillcrest today to get some shit done with Andrea..I had to exchange my D&G cologne for a bottle of Alfred Sung "SHI"...I love it...it has a very fresh, smooth scent, then I went to Jean Machine to exchange my jeans (cuz the button broke)and then we just kinda browsed. Hillcrest was CRAZY BUSY...even at like 2pm...ppl must take off work to do xmas shopping, or something!!! Anywayz....then I headed over to Indigo to meet Jay...(he's offered me a position in the cafe a couple of times cuz Brett and Robinson are gone and they're short-staffed and I needed a second job for the xmas break) So, anywayz...Jay got all the papers 2gether and I was talking to Cristina 'n stuff (she wanted me to start working there cuz she's not too happy with some of the new staff)and then Jay went to the back to talk to Karen and Meghan...GUESS WHAT HAPPENED???? Meghan said that I "WASN'T REHIREABLE" and then Karen agreed with her. The Reason: (according to them) b/c I quit Indigo without giving them 2 weeks notice!!! Vania was completely ready to have me back, but Karen wouldn't allow it!!! How jokes is that?? Whateves, she's just a dumb cunt anywayz....Jay said..straight up, the only reason why she won't allow me to work there again is cuz she HATES JAY and she doesn't want any of his friends to work in the cafe...hahahahaha...she's a dumb bitch!! Whatever...Karen's gone in like 2 weeks anywayz...Jay can't wait!! I'm probably gonna work there in January when Karen's gone and the Cafe becomes a Starbucks...that'll be chill. I just really like the staff, y know?? It was funny though cuz Meghan was being a bitch to me when she came out from the back and everyone else was like "GILLIAN, HOW ARE YOU" (Terry, Debbie, Louise, etc.). Fucking bitches....

I went shopping with my mom today for most of the afternoon....I bought this sick blazer-jacket thing from Jacob and a comforter, sheets and pillow cases for my bed...gonna paint my room blue within the next couuple of weeks....plus..my mom bought my sister a toaster oven for her room at school..
I gotta go shopping sometime this week to find a nice scarf...looked 2day and couldn't find one..I also need a New Year's Dress and a nice black top to match my blazer......

Jess in 18 Today....IT's CRAZY...she's technically an ADULT...HAHAHA and she's moving out in a month!! That makes me look kinda pathetic, but whateves. She was TRASHED 2 nites in a row....Tonite 'ill make it number three...she's fully taking advantage of her bday weekend!! Thursday nite her & I went out for drinks to the Honest Lawyer- it's actually a really nice bar (it replaced Challengers- which was kinda a shithole)but they had a live band that kinda sucked and was SO LOUD so we ended up across the parking lot at Alice Fazooli's...that place is chill too- good times, good times.
Last nite Leah & I worked and all the guys came in for Matt's bday (which was actually on Tuedsay). First, this couple came in and requested a table for 10 ppl...about 10 minutes later all the guyz walked in and I found out the couple was AIDAN's brother and his wife...Funny....When they came in the restaurant was DEAD (cuz of the shity weather)and I had two completely CRAZY customers!! They were completely wacked out...loud, abnoxious and really freaky. You could hear these two guys over the music attempting to rap Eminem lyrics and singing Smashing Pumpkins...THEY WERE PSYCHO!! Now, all the guyz probably think that we normally have customers like that....so typical...cuz generally the customers that come into Hooters are really chill!! It's those few losers that give the restaurant a bad name, ya know? Anywayz...I have crazy amounts of studying to do...

On Thursday I spent most of the afternoon at the York Library-blah....cuz I have a communication studies essay due on Tuesday (which I haven't started, but I have a pretty good outline for). Then Thursday nite I headed over to Candy and Sarah's place and I took Candy to Yorkdale to shop for a semi-formal dress....unsuccessful...that girl is WAY TOO PICKY....she tried on a couple of REALLY KILLER DRESSES that made her look like a "KNOCK OUT" and she didn't like any of them. Oh well, can't say I didn't try! I'm just glad that we were shopping for her and not for me...I HATE shopping for dresses......just not my thing. Anywayz, I ended up meeting up with Phil later on that nite and chilling at Leah's for a bit....nothing else new and exciting....10 more days 'til school's out!!!!

Why? Why did he have to ruin himself-TWICE??? He's probably one of the most talented dancers on this planet and one of the most successful pop musicians of ALL TIME!! I HAD so much respect for him as an artist....but when something like this happens...it makes you think twice.
I know that he probably had a really difficult chidhood- who wouldn't, being forced into showbusiness at age five, physically and emotionally abused and constantly judged by hollywood reporters and EVEN by your own family??? He ALWAYZ had certain expectations to live up to, from a VERY YOUNG age. His biography demonstrated that he became sooooooo obsessed with his self-image and physical appearance and he was extremely UNHAPPY. That is one of the main reasons why he decided to go through with multiple plastic surgeries. He was NEVER truly happy with the way that he saw himself in the mirror.
Presently...I don't WANT to believe that these sexual molestation allegations are true...but I think I'm left with little choice. This time, it's NOT about MONEY...THE VICTIM HAS TO TESTIFY....I think that there's A LOT more going at at the "NEVERLAND RANCH" than Michael wants us to know....

Honestly....I DON'T understand guys!! I went out with Newsha on Saturday for his birthday (Happy 20th) and Adam came along (Ehsan's friend). Newsha was like all decked out for his bday... I was soooooo excited. Anywayz, so as I said before we went to this hip hop jam at The Kathedral (Queen & Bathurst beside the Big Bop)....Newsha was all high and drunk and practically passing out in the backseat of my car so I dropped him off around 2:00am...I went to Adam's and we were chilling and smoking joints and we talked for a couple of hours...I didn't get home until like 6:00am...I had SUCH A GOOD NITE...Adam is soooooooo Chills..So, when I was leaving I was like "so, you have my number right? Give me a call." Do you think he's called me yet?? It's Wednesady at like 10:00. I really wanna call him cuz I have his CD and his gloves (that he left in my car) I'd love to chill with him again sometime-SOON!! Okay, so last Tuesday my sis and I watched home videos for like 3 hours!!! I have a few questions regarding my childhood... 1) Why did my mother dress me like a boy?? All my shirts were ghostbusters, blue jays, etc etc, I had a mushroom cut....My mother didn't punish my sister, so WHY did she punish me?? That's why growing up i was SUCH a tomboy....my sister was totally the girlie girl.. 2) Why did we give my Dad cashews every single year with his xmas present??? Couldn't we have been a little more original?? 3) Why did the amount of presents under the tree decrease year by year?? Anywayz, it was fun reminissing with Jess...
Like the one xmas that we got B.J and Ziggy (2 parakeets)...my sister was ecstatic!!! She jumped in front of the video camera screaming "Yahoo", "Horray" & "Yippee"...it was jokes...
This year is definitely the greatest xmas present of all...THE CRUISE...I can't wait...
So, Friday nite I worked and chilled with my sister's friends afterwards ( I went to Avi's house) and chilled with John, Joanna, Avi, Jen.....I listened to "Jess' life story" and pigged out on Bulk Barn food (thanx Joanna).
On Saturday nite I went out for Newsha's birthday with him and Adam to this Hip Hop Jam. It was a completely new experience for me...there was a freestyle battle, a breakdancing competition and just various Toronto MC's taking turns on the Mic...Then I chilled at Adam's after I dropped off Newsha...He's a really cool guy :)

Andrea's the BEST....we haven't chilled in 'nough long!! So, I went out for drinks with her last nite to King Henry's..(it's the only bar in Richmond Hill that I don't mind). The only problem was that it was Monday nite football (needless to say we were the only chicks in the bar) and it was kinda busy...but, whateves, we were able to chat and catch up. We have soooooo many memories.....I 'member the first time we chilled at the SHOPPERS XMAS party when Jamie got SMASHED.....that was jokes.....tanning in her backyard....when Stu's parents went away....seeing her parents in THE GAP with the bottles of wine.."It's apple juice..." Good times, good times.... Anyway, we had a really good nite!!
Around 11:30 I phoned Adam to wish him a HAPPY BDAY (I totally forgot to do it earlier) then after a few glasses of wine I phoned him again and asked what he was doing...I ended up going over to his house and chill'in. We watched this "Horror movie" called WRONG TURN and laughed through the entire 2 hours....Needless to say IT SUCKED...we both thought it was really cheesy. I really like spending time with him though...he's jokes. Hopefully we'll chill again soon...hehe

I'm seriously going to kill my dad....I attempted to get a good nitez sleep last nite, but no...he has a SERIOUS SNORING PROBLEM...My bedroom is across the hall (with the door closed) and I can hear him LOUD AND CLEAR!!! I'm putting my foot down...I'm making him go to a snoring clinc...whatever it takes for me to get a decent nite's sleep around here!!
I looked like complete shit for my presentation this morning running on a couple hours of sleep and one cup of coffee...but I guess that it went okay... Anywayz, I'm gonna go and vote now at the Heinzman House with my mom....
